Dr. Hannah Minch
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Owner
Dr. Hannah Minch (previously Mercurio) was born in Kilmarnock, VA but grew up in Wilmington, DE, and attended the University of Delaware for undergraduate studies.
She graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. During veterinary school she published a research study on piglet behavior, was the recipient of the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation Grant for advancing animal welfare for her work with sea turtles, in addition to other projects and volunteer work in addition to her studies.
After graduation Dr. Minch completed a rigorous year-long emergency and general practice internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, DC. After that she accepted a position as a clinical instructor at the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine, teaching veterinary students in their clinical year of general practice and dentistry. After her time in Ohio, she went on to serve as medical director at 2 private practices on Long Island as well as practicing full time in small animal medicine and dentistry. After practicing veterinary medicine in RIchmond for nearly a decade, Dr. Minch decided it was time to branch out and work for herself!
When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her children and her little rescue dog. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include behavior and dentistry, but she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine.
